Privacy note

The short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

The quiz

When you complete the hair quiz we store your answers, the date, your rough location (country and region, from your connection), and how you got to us (for example, which advert you came from). We use this to understand what mums are experiencing and to write better articles. Answers are stored without your name unless you choose to give us your email.

Your email

If you give us your email at the end of the quiz, we send you a copy of your results and the article that goes with them, and we may occasionally email you about hair and the things we're researching. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Your email and your quiz answers are stored together with our email provider (Klaviyo) so that what we send you is relevant.

Advertising and analytics

This site uses the Meta pixel and a server-side tracking service (wetracked.io) so we can tell which of our articles and adverts lead people to the products we recommend. This uses cookies and similar technologies. If you buy a product we recommend, the shop tells us that a sale happened so we can be paid a commission, together with the information about how you reached them.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@mumscience.co.uk. We'll do it within 30 days.
